Welcome to Penalfi!

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Penalfi, a platform for parking operators to manage and collect unpaid cross-border parking fines from foreign vehicle owners.

By using Penalfi, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description
Penalfi enables parking operators to upload, manage, and collect unpaid parking fines. The platform provides tools for fine management, recipient notifications, and payment collection (including online payments).

2. User Accounts
You must be a registered parking operator or authorized user to access Penalfi. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Fine Data and Notifications
You may upload fine details (including license plate, country, violation date, location, amount, and recipient contact information). You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all data you provide. Penalfi sends notifications to recipients based on your input and settings.

4. Payments
Penalfi facilitates payment collection for fines via integrated payment providers (e.g., Stripe). Payment processing is subject to the terms of the payment provider. Penalfi is not responsible for payment failures or delays caused by third-party services.

5. Data Privacy
We collect and process personal data (such as vehicle and contact details) solely for the purpose of providing our service. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-policy.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Penalfi only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not use the platform to upload false, misleading, or unauthorized data.

7. Intellectual Property
All software, content, and materials provided by Penalfi remain the property of Penalfi or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability
Penalfi is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost payments, data loss, or legal claims from third parties.

9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through the platform.
